Parents in the UK have attended the ‘world’s first dad’s strike’ in a demand for more paternity rights.
It comes after a group of MPs urged the government to significantly increase paternity rights because the UK has "one of the worst" statutory leave offers in the developed world.
Under current laws, statutory paternity leave is a maximum of two weeks on up to just £187.18 a week – while European neighbours including France and Spain have much better offers.
