Alfie Hallett died in Casais, near Tomar, in central Portugal.

Police say the suspect believed to be the former partner of the boy’s mother, was later found with similar injuries and died following a suspected gas explosion, which also injured a National Republican Guard officer.
Tributes have been posted on social media by a local basketball club, describing Alfie as a keen and talented player.
