
A British man who survived a huge snowstorm in Patagonia, which claimed the lives of five people, has described the desperate attempts to save his fellow hikers.
Speaking to Sky’s Sarah-Jane Mee on The UK Tonight, Christian Aldridge said he is "devastated" after losing his friend Victoria Bond, 40, in the incident.
Mr Aldridge, 41, from Cornwall, added: "We’ve lost one of our best friends and one of the most amazing people I’ve met and we’re all carrying around with us a huge amount of grief, shock and guilt."
