Brothers jailed for historic sexual offences in Barrow and Leeds

Today three brothers have been sentenced at Preston Crown Court for a total of 80 years – for 63 offences against children and vulnerable girls in Leeds and Barrow-in-furness.

It’s taken 16 years for some of the girls who were abused to get justice – as Channel 4 News reported back in December, the police knew some of what was happening in Barrow as far back as 2009.
