Cabin crew for Air India will have their BMI monitored as part of a policy change #airindia #travel

The airline told us it will ‘promote awareness’ around healthy lifestyles and they will provide guidance to flight attendants on keeping fit.

Air India says: “It is intended to support crew members in sustaining long-term health while being fully prepared for the operational demands of their role and is in line with World Health Organisation BMI classifications.

“The policy outlines processes, including periodic checks and guidance, while ensuring employee welfare."
