Pakistan’s government has said its military has been authorised to take “corresponding actions” after India fired missiles into Pakistani-administered territory.
The missiles hit several locations early on Wednesday, with Pakistan saying at least 26 people – including a child – have been killed and another 38 injured.
Pakistan’s leader has described the strikes as an "act of war".
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has said the missile attack on Pakistan "will be of serious concern for many across Britain".
