Can Trump broker ceasefire between Russia-Ukraine?

Central to Donald Trump’s campaign for the presidency was his promise to be the candidate for peace.

He did once say that he could end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours.
But almost 100 days since he moved back into the White House, it’s a different campaign he’s waging – one of military strikes on Yemen that saw 68 people killed overnight.

The war in Gaza continues, and any promise by the Russians of a ceasefire in Ukraine is – for now – temporary.
