Can we solve the mental health crisis in A&E?

Sky’s Ashish Joshi talks to those affected by an influx of mental health patients to A&E wards across England.

The NHS announced last year that specialist mental health crisis centres will open across England in an attempt to reduce crowding in accident and emergency departments.

Anyone feeling emotionally distressed or suicidal can call Samaritans for help on 116 123 or email [email protected] in the UK. In the US, call the Samaritans branch in your area or 1 (800) 273-TALK.
