Police say they are finding increasing numbers of cannabis farms in rented properties, making it harder to find the organised crime gangs responsible.
Sky News spoke with the chief executive of the British Landlords Association, who has also fallen victim.
He told us it was "horrific" when he entered his property to find it had been used to grow the drug.
