Presenter and author Carol Vorderman has called on the prime minister to apologise over cutting winter fuel payments for millions of pensioners.
She told Sky’s Sophy Ridge she is "shocked" by the government’s decision, saying they could "raise that money in so many other ways."
The broadcaster, famed for her stint on Channel 4 gameshow Countdown, has become more vocal about her politics in recent years. Despite receiving negative comments on social media about speaking up on these issues, she says "the more people try to abuse me, the stronger I feel."
