Channel 4 News visited the Inham Nook estate in the Nottinghamshire suburb of Chilwell over the summer for our Britain’s Forgotten Suburbs report. In some parts of the estate two in five children live in poverty. It was a community effort that was supporting families with the increased cost of living. But now those who were helping are now struggling themselves.
Frances Read went back there this Christmas and discovered that they’re finding this winter particularly tough.
