The Emmy award-winning actress Catherine O’Hara has died at the age of 71.

After establishing her comedy career in the 1970s, the Toronto born actress first broke into film a decade later.
She became best known for her roles in popular TV comedy Schitt’s Creek, Home Alone and Best in Show.
Her management agency said she passed away at home in Los Angeles, following a brief illness.
