CCTV footage shows rocket attack on mayor in Philippines

CCTV footage released by the Shariff Aguak municipality showed a rocket attack targeting the vehicle of mayor Akmad Mitra Ampatuan on 25 January in Maguindanao del Sur, the Philippines. Despite the rocket hitting the mayor’s vehicle and heavy gunfire at the scene, Ampatuan was unharmed, local media reported. Two members of his security detail were reported wounded in the attack.
