The UK Health Security Agency’s target of vaccinating 95% of children has been missed again in the last year.

Just 83.7% of five-year-olds had both MMR doses, the combined measles, mumps and rubella immunisation. That’s the the lowest rate in the last 15 years.
There continues to be sharp regional disparities too with take up of the Hib/MenC vaccine among children starting school ranging from 93.5% in south-west England to 80.0% in London.
