The United States ambassador to the UK has told Sky News that the government should review its policy on renewables and be more open to drilling for oil and gas in the North Sea.
Warren Stephens told Sky’s Wilfred Frost that ignoring fossil fuel reserves is an "incorrect policy" and could impact the UK economy in the future.
