Death row inmate Christa Pike, who survived Tennessee’s attempt to execute her, is now awake according to her lawyers.
Following the botched execution, Pike was put on a ventilator in hospital and remained there under guard as doctors tried to get the massive dose of pentobarbital out of her system.
Pike’s attorneys are set to go to court on October 7th as they seek to learn more about what happened in the failed lethal injection.
