Cineworld has announced its closing six cinemas across the UK as part of a restructuring plan – which it says will ensure a sustainable long-term future.
The struggling cinema chain says it’s shutting sites which are no longer "commercially viable" so the business can return to profit.
It hopes to redeploy as many staff as possible, denying reports there would be hundreds of redundancies.
