Prime minister Rishi Sunak has defended a planned expansion of oil and gas drilling in the North Sea.
He said the move was "entirely consistent" with the government’s goal to reach net zero by 2050.
Mr Sunak said if we’re going to need oil and gas, "far better to have it here at home, than shipping it half way around the world".
