Conclave to begin to elect new pope – follow live on ITV News

Cardinals will begin trying to find a new pope on Wednesday, when the Conclave opens, more than two weeks after the death of Pope Francis.

Given the challenges facing the Catholic Church, it is a daunting task for the 133 cardinal electors, who come from 70 different countries.

ITV News will be showing you live shots from the Vatican, and the smoke from the Sistine Chapel chimney after voting.
