Support for Labour among young people has collapsed in recent months, exclusive polling for ITV News and ITV Peston programme has found, while backing for the Green Party from 18 to 25 year olds has doubled.
The polling suggests young people are abandoning Keir Starmer’s party in their droves, with their support for Labour plummeting from 43% in March to 25% in November.
But the Greens, who elected their new leader Zack Polanski in September, have surged to become the party most popular with young adults, increasing their support from 16% in March to 32% in November.
