Could your broadband bill go up by £11 a month to help pay for the BBC?
A think tank has proposed scrapping the TV licence fee and replacing it with a charge added to every household’s broadband bill.
Under the proposal, you’d pay an extra £11 a month or £132 a year on top of your existing internet costs.
The idea comes as the BBC looks at alternative ways to fund itself, with fewer people paying the TV licence.
