62% of British fathers say they struggled financially after their child was born – with low income families hit hardest by current paternity pay entitlements.

Although currently being reviewed, Work and Pensions Secretary Pat McFadden MP has said that "anything more generous has to be paid for – and considered alongside other priorities".
