Court approves £3bn loan for Thames Water

Plans to restructure England’s biggest water company Thames Water have been approved by a High Court judge – including getting a £3.3 billion loan.

Its parent company has around £16 billion of debt and needs the loan to keep Thames Water from going into special administration.
