Crowd throw petrol bombs and fireworks at police in Edinburgh

Footage showed a crowd of young people in Edinburgh throwing fireworks at police officers on Guy Fawkes night. The incident occurred in the Niddrie area of the city, where police officers in riot gear could be seen stood in columns as explosive projectiles were fired at them. Edinburgh council’s leader, Cammy Day, said the people involved in the clashes could face prosecution
