Britain’s largest car manufacturer has been forced to halt its global operations until at least 1 Oct in the wake of a major cyberattack.
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) said it was looking to "build the timeline for the phased restart of our operations".
The company was initially hit on 31 August, forcing it to halt production at its factories.
The extension will cost JLR tens of millions of pounds a day and is putting thousands of jobs at risk in the car production supply chain.
