Phase two of the David Fuller Inquiry will be published today. This second and final phase focuses on the wider safeguarding and care of the deceased. Sir Jonathan Michael will be giving a press conference to local and national media. The Inquiry was launched In after David Fuller, an electrical maintenance supervisor with Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, was convicted of the murders of Wendy Knell and Caroline Pierce in 1987. Subsequent police investigation found that Fuller had sexually abused at least 100 deceased women and girls in the mortuaries of the hospitals in which he had worked.
