The Justice Secretary is expected to give a statement in the Commons to update MPs on the accidental release of prisoners.
In the last few weeks several prisoners have been wrongly released, including sex offender Hadush Kebatu who was released from HMP Chelmsford last month before being found, arrested and deported.
Another sex offender, Brahim Kaddour-Cherif was released in error from HMP Wandsworth before being re-arrested by police.
And ITV News witnessed William Smith hands himself into that prison after he was mistakenly released.
