A fire at a care home for elderly and other vulnerable people has killed at least 12 people in Sri Lanka. Fifty-one residents were rescued, some of them with injuries, and others are still missing. The fire started late on Wednesday in Anguruwatota district, Western province. The director of the home has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by negligence and an investigation is under way
