Deadly Israeli air strike hits school in Gaza City

The Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh has been buried in Doha after he was assassinated in the Iranian capital Tehran earlier this week.

Iran has vowed revenge over the killing, while Israel, which has not confirmed or denied whether it was behind the attack, said it was in a "state of high readiness for any scenario". Meanwhile Israeli air strikes have continued to strike Gaza – killing at least nine people.
