Deadly wildfire leaves one dead and nine injured in southern France

Firefighters in southern France are battling to control the country’s biggest wildfire so far this year.

The blaze – which now covers an area larger than Paris – has burned houses and cars in the Aude region, close to the border with Spain. One person is known to have died, with nine others injured.
