When a missile hit an area of Beit Shemesh on 10 March, Emanuel Fabian reported a warhead landed, and it was not an interception.

That’s important because on the prediction site Polymarket, thousands of people bet real money on whether or not an Iranian missile would hit on that day.

Users who voted there wouldn’t be a strike that day threatened Fabian because they would lose money unless he changed his report.

Polymarket said it condemns the harassment and has banned accounts that targeted Fabian.

Now the prediction is still being reviewed by the platform, with over 22 million dollars at stake.

This is only one of numerous bets being placed on the war, with people hoping to cash in on a conflict that has killed thousands already.
