Demonstrators gather on sidelines of DNC calling for shift in US policy in Israel

Demonstrators gathered near the Democratic national convention in Chicago to demonstrate against US aid of Israel’s war in Gaza, intent on sending a message to the Democratic party, that their votes need to be earned and not to take their support for granted. A small number of pro-Israel supporters were in attendance, pushing for the US to continue support for Israel and its right to defend itself
