Desperate search for missing girls after Texas floods

Up to 25 girls at a summer camp are unaccounted for in central Texas as flash floods have left at least 24 people dead.

Heavy rainfall caused the Guadalupe River to rise 26 feet – nearly eight metres – in just 45 minutes on Friday and many people were caught off guard.

Officials say they will work around the clock to continue rescue and evacuation efforts, as President Donald Trump adds federal supports will be available.
