Diddy trial: Sean 'Diddy' Combs found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution | ITV News

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been found guilty by a federal jury of two charges of transportation to engage in prostitution but acquitted of the more serious charges he faced.

Combs, 55, was charged with five counts, including one count of racketeering conspiracy and two counts each of sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. He had pleaded not guilty to all offences.

The rapper faces a sentence of up to ten years.

During the trial, prosecutors said Combs coerced two women into participating in sex acts with prostitutes during drug-fuelled parties while he watched and sometimes filmed the incidents.

The jury also heard that he used violence and threats to keep his victims compliant and silent.

“The defendant used power, violence and fear to get what he wanted,” Assistant US Attorney Christy Slavik told the jury.
