Doctors in the UK are trialling the use of so-called "poo pills", to flush out dangerous superbug infections.

They contain freeze-dried faeces from healthy donors, which are packed with good bacteria. Early data indicates that superbugs can be flushed out of the bowel and replaced with healthy gut bacteria. Infections resistant to antibiotics are thought to kill a million people a year.
