Does the language of Parliament need modernising?

The use of confusing parliamentary jargon in the House of Commons could soon be over.
Parliament’s Modernisation Committee has recognised that much of the language used by MPs and Lords is outdated and could be made more accessible.
It has set up an inquiry and is taking evidence on whether the language used should be modernised.
