The former Manchester United star – Ryan Giggs – has been cleared of domestic violence allegations made by his ex-girlfriend.
Jurors failed to reach a verdict in the original trial last year. The retrial was scheduled to begin at the end of this month, but was dismissed when his former partner Kate Greville said she was "unwilling" to offer any evidence.
