Iran says the crucial waterway remains open to all shipping except vessels linked to its “enemies” and has threatened that, if the deadline is ignored, it could close the Strait entirely and strike energy sites across the Middle East.
Last night, dozens were injured near an Israeli nuclear facility after an Iranian attack. Analysts say the move is aimed at keeping oil prices high. On day 23 of the conflict, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called on Western nations to take stronger action, insisting Iran “endangers the entire world.”
