Dozens killed in Gaza as Israeli tanks return to Northern Gaza

Dozens of people are reported to have been killed by Israeli airstrikes after another night of heavy fighting in Gaza with Israeli tanks reportedly making incursions into separate areas of northern and southern Gaza.

Local officials said 50 people were killed in northern Gaza by the shelling and the ground assault, which has been described as the largest since Israel abandoned the ceasefire in early March.
