Dyson, the home appliances giant, has abandoned its lawsuit against this programme after a two and a half year court battle.
The company sued Channel 4 and ITN, which produces Channel 4 News, for libel after our investigations team reported on appalling conditions in a factory in Malaysia – where Dyson products were being manufactured. But the case has now been discontinued – in what campaigners say is a victory for public interest journalism.
