Eamonn Holmes FUMES as migrants given THOUSANDS in compensation over seized phones

Eamonn Holmes fumes after migrants were given thousands of pounds in compensation for having their mobile phones seized after crossing the English Channel.

Judges declared the seizure of the phones of more than 70 illegal migrants was unlawful.

The High Court determined that confiscating their devices and downloading their personal data breached the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).
