Eamonn Holmes has questioned how people can afford to live after UK inflation rose by more than expected.

The figures from the Office for National Statistics show the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) inflation increased to 3.8% in July, from 3.6% in June.

Speaking on GB News Breakfast, the host simply asked: ‘How do people live?’
