Eight cooling towers are demolished in series of explosions in Nottinghamshire | ITV News

Eight cooling towers at a decommissioned Nottinghamshire power station are about to be demolished in what will be the first event of its kind in the UK for more than a decade.

The demolition is scheduled to take place at 11am and, once complete, very little will be left of the former Cottam Power Station.
