The Government has unveiled its flagship employment rights bill – describing it as the "biggest upgrade to rights at work for a generation".

The changes will bring improvements to sick pay and parental leave benefits – as well as guaranteed working hours for those on zero hours contracts if they want them. But critics have called it a chaotic rush job which leaves the big decisions till later.
