nergy bills will go up again for millions of households from October 1st after the regulator Ofgem raised its price cap by 2%.
It means the average household will pay another £35 a year for their gas and electricity – taking their annual bill to £1,755, which is £102 a month.
The latest figures show more than a third of customers are on fixed tariffs, protecting them from the upcoming rise.
