So now the government has introduced emergency measures to preserve what’s left such as closing universities and fuel rationing.
The uncertainty has got people panic buying, even queuing overnight just to fuel up.
The Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation said if people cut fuel consumption by 25%, the country will have enough left for two weeks.
