David Lammy has admitted why the Epping migrant sex attacker who was accidentally released from prison on Friday won’t be deported on the next flight to Ethiopia.

Hadush Kebatu was finally arrested on Sunday morning after a near two day manhunt.

Kebatu sparked a major manhunt after being mistakenly released from HMP Chelmsford on Friday.

Speaking to reporters, the Justice Secretary admitted Kebatu is likely to remain in the country until later in the week
