Held on back-to-back days, the former president and first lady were grilled by US Congress members about how much they knew about the convicted sex trafficker’s crimes.
Bill Clinton faced questions about several pictures of him in the Epstein files, including ones showing him in a hot tub with a person whose face has been redacted.
At one point during Hillary Clinton’s testimony, a member shared a photo of the confidential meeting which prompted an angry response from Clinton and a short break in the proceedings.
But the pair were adamant that they were not aware of Epstein’s crimes, and Republican congress members who orchestrated the depositions are being accused of engaging in theatrics while President Donald Trump has not been called to testify about his relationship with Epstein.
