European leaders say a US-Russia peace plan to end Russia’s war against Ukraine needs "additional work".
Ukraine’s allies are holding talks on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Johannesburg – some are expected to travel to Washington next week to hold discussions with Donald Trump ahead of Thursday’s deadline for Ukraine to accept that deal.
The 28-point draft proposal includes major concessions from Ukraine, including giving up territory and cutting the size of its army.
