European and Iranian ministers hold nuclear talks as Israeli strikes continue

The UN chief has warned that widening the conflict between Israel and Iran could spark a fire which no one could control, while Iran’s foreign minister met top European diplomats in Geneva for talks aimed at restoring negotiations over Iran’s nuclear programme.

The Foreign Secretary David Lammy said tonight they were "keen to continue ongoing discussions".
